Roshni Pratap has been selected as the new director Information Technology (IT) Strategic Sourcing, UC Systemwide Procurement. This promotion reflects Pratap’s exceptional dedication, leadership, and contributions to UC Systemwide Procurement over the years.
Since joining UC Systemwide Procurement in March 2018, Pratap has demonstrated unwavering commitment and expertise in various roles. These include serving as senior category manager, IT Sourcing and co-interim Director, Strategic Sourcing, and IT. Pratap also served at UC Davis Medical Center and UC Davis Health Systems since May 2015 before joining UC Systemwide Procurement. Throughout her nine years with the university, Pratap has consistently delivered outstanding results and demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities.
Pratap’s experience speaks volumes about her capabilities. From leading the execution of IT strategic sourcing initiatives to managing the lifecycle of systemwide agreements, her contributions have been instrumental in driving down costs, maximizing benefits, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices and University policies.
Furthermore, Pratap has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives like the Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Relationship Management project, where she has enhanced the sourcing framework and supplier relationship management strategies.
Throughout her career, Pratap has demonstrated a keen ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, align sourcing strategies with organizational goals, and identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings. As Pratap steps into her new role as Director, Strategic Sourcing, Information Technology, she will continue in her exceptional leadership, leveraging over 25 years of experience in the field. Her experience, expertise, and dedication will undoubtedly drive procurement services to new heights, further contributing to the University’s mission of excellence in education and research.
