UC Tech Survey Winners Announced

UC Tech Survey Winners Announced

The UC IT blog team would like to thank you for participating in, and spreading the word about, our recent community survey. Thanks to you, we received over 500 responses from UC tech community members. This provided an important opportunity to learn more about the demographics and interests of UC employees regarding technology. We have begun sharing early results with those who join our Marketing & Outreach sessions and others in small groups, and look forward to publishing them in the coming weeks in the UC IT Blog as well. Your feedback and support is greatly appreciated any time.

As promised, we are giving out prizes, based on a random drawing among those who completed the survey. Prizes are listed below, with more winners to be announced after the staff-wide version of this survey closes at the end-August.

This week, we began hearing back from prize recipients who also began to generously share stories about their work to help us in our efforts to connect the community more deeply each day. We look forward to sharing these interviews with you in the weeks ahead.

For now, a quick word the winners shared upon hearing the good news about the drawing:

Louisana Ovanesian, UCLA

“Good morning – Thank you so much!  I did not win the Mega Lotto last night but I won this, thank you!”

Louisa Ovanesian, customer support analyst, IT Support Center, UCLA (winner of a $75 gift card)

Carrie D. Cuy, UC Berkeley

“Thanks so much – that’s awesome news!”

Carrie D. Cuy, Distance Education Specialist – Technology and Instructional Design
California Social Work Education Center (CalSWEC), University of California, Berkeley (winner of a coupon toward a meal at Chez Panissee – world-renowned restaurant in Berkeley, known for its role in creating the concept of California Cuisine)

Ernesto Ernesto Carrasco, UCLA

“That’s great news! I usually don’t win things. I’m actually also interested in testing OtterAI, so this is well-timed.”

Ernesto Carrasco, Director, Governance Risk and Compliance (winner of an OtterAI Subscription)

Winners gifts being sent to 5 winners:

  • $75 Amazon Gift Cards
  • OtterAI Subscription
  • Chez Panisse dinner coupon – the Berkeley, CA institution that put California Cuisine on the map

We hope to hear from the two other winners soon.

Please help us spread-the-word to gather insights for other UC community members

For those who missed the survey targeting UC tech community members, we expanded our audience to include the broader UC Community. We plan to do a drawing for this audience as well, once that survey closes end-August. Thank you for taking the survey and/or sharing it broadly with UC staff. The survey is available now on Link UC Office of the President News
