Celebrate CSAM (formerly NCSAM) with UC

Cyber Security Awareness Month, October 2021, University of California

National Cyber Security Awareness Month is now Cyber Security Awareness Month (CSAM). CSAM is observed every October, with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of cybersecurity across the nation.

UC is a proud sponsor of CSAM. This year’s theme is “Do your Part. #BeCyberSmart.” The UC Systemwide Cyber Champions have created a calendar of events with the goal of promoting resources and keeping everyone safe online.

Be sure to check out the CSAM calendar of events and reserve time to participate in some of these opportunities. Here are a few highlights that may be of particular interest:

October 6 LIVE FROM Las Vegas, The Mentalist (3 – 4pm): The Mentalist will perform telepathy, illusions, mind reading, and even magic during this live family-friendly event! Register now.

October 11 The Danny Ocean of Social Engineers (10 – 11am): Shelby Dacko is a human risk analyst with Social-Engineer, LLC.
