A holiday message from UC VP of IT and CIO, Van Williams:
To the UC Tech Community,
UC Tech is the most amazing higher ed community in the world. You all have accomplished so much in 2022 and what lies ahead in 2023 is even more exciting.
I am so lucky to be part of such a diverse, vibrant, and impactful group of ~9K tech community members. Your accomplishments have truly advanced the UC mission this year. You continue to demonstrate the value of cross-campus collaboration and serve as a role-model for other areas within the UC and within higher ed.

I can’t wait to see how UC Tech’s collaboration, engagement and leadership continue to support the growth of the community in the year ahead.
You all know that technology, design, and data have increasingly become key elements of our research, education, and health missions. The UC Tech community is at the heart of technology, design, and data. Together, we are helping to redefine what it means to be the number one public research university in the world.
Thank you for letting me join you on this journey. I look forward to amplifying your efforts in support of UC in 2023.
