Don’t Forget! May 6 Deadline for Sautter Award Applications

Just a reminder that May 6 is the deadline to apply for a University of California Sautter Award for Innovation in Information Technology. See the Sautter Program website for the submission process, selection criteria, FAQ, and other information. A selection committee of IT Leadership Council (ITLC) members meets in early July and winning projects are announced at the UC Computing Services Conference in Santa Cruz on July 12.

The Larry L. Sautter Award for Innovation in Information Technology was established in 2000 in memory of Larry L. Sautter, UCR’s associate vice chancellor for computing and communications. The award encourages and recognizes innovative deployment of information technology in support of the University’s mission. Hear what UCR’s CIO Chuck Rowley says about Larry Sautter, who he worked with directly.
