Now you can do both at the same time. Follow and share your UC IT photographs with the new @UCalifornia_IT Instagram account. Your pictures could be featured and you could win a prize!
It’s a great way to show off an event from your campus (anything from UCCSC to a small IT potluck), brag about some cool hardware, highlight IT interest groups, or even capture UC IT-ers on vacation!
Really – your imagination is the limit about what depicts our community. So don’t hesitate to send photos our way.
It’s a private account, and you’ll have to ask to follow it to see the photographs. After that, it will be easy to submit photos.
To have your photos and message published on the @UCalifornia_IT Instagram account, you can do one of the following:
- Directly message @UCalifornia_IT via Instagram
- Send an email to Alexa Rivetti with the photo and we’ll post it
- Post the image/message to your own (public) account with the hashtag: #UCITCommunity
The first 3 submissions featured will receive Amazon gift cards, and the next 5 will get a prize – a UC hat or a special UC IT smart phone pockets. Let’s see if we can come together to post 30 photos in the next month!
